Goblintober: 31 Goblin Paper Minis in 31 Days

Korrigan Press

October is here, and with it comes the season of creative challenges. Some people draw every day for Inktober, others write a story a day—here at Korrigan Press, I’ve decided to put a goblin spin on it: Goblintober.

The challenge: for each of the 31 days of October, I’ll design and craft a brand-new goblin paper miniature. By the end of the month, that means 31 unique goblins, ready to print and play. And since these are paper minis, you can put as many copies of each one on the table as you like—whether you want a lone grunt or a full unit of archers.

At the end of Goblintober, all of them will be collected into a big Goblintober set, available as a printable PDF for your tabletop games.

The First Recruits

The warband has already started to assemble with the first minis:

  • Day 1: The Spear-Guard – Spear and shield at the ready, the first line of goblin defense.

The Spear-Guard

  • Day 2: The Grunt – Sword in hand, the backbone of any warband.

The Grunt

  • Day 3: The Archer – Bow drawn, arrow aimed, covering the battlefield from afar.

The Archer

Each design is already a playable miniature: print, cut, base, and they’re ready to join the fight.

The Goblintober List

Here’s the full roadmap for the challenge:

Goblintober Prompt List

From berserkers and shamans to chieftains and a full warband, every day adds a new face (or snarl) to the army.

Why Goblins?

Because goblins are the perfect choice for a month-long paper mini project: scrappy, chaotic, and endlessly versatile. They can be warriors, scouts, mystics—or just comic relief at the table. Each new design adds more personality to the warband, and by the end of the month you’ll have a complete goblin army for your skirmish battles or RPG encounters.

Follow Along

I’ll be posting progress here on the blog as the minis pile up, and sharing daily updates on Instagram at @lostinbrittany.

When Goblintober wraps up, all 31 goblins will be released together as the Goblintober Warband Set—a big printable pack, free (or pay-what-you-want) from Korrigan Press.

So sharpen your scissors and ready your bases: Goblintober has begun!
